After the invasion of Convallis Valley, those that escaped (known as the Exiles) found themselves in the nation of Tasset. A sympathetic ear was found in the Tasset government who gifted the Convalli a piece of land to establish New Haven; a place for them to settle and rebuild. Despite it’s less than stellar location along the fringes of the Wetlands, they’ve managed to make a home away from home there. Though, not without opposition.
There’s been growing displeasure towards Convalli living in Tasset. Their merchants are having greater difficulty finding suppliers willing to trade with them. Reports of Tasset citizens becoming less friendly, and sometimes outright hostile, are increasing. And now, there are voices in the government wanting to ‘deal’ with them.
No one knows what this could mean, but it doesn’t sound good. They have no voting rights, no direct spokesperson to speak on their behalf. They remain where they are at the whim of a single sympathetic representative in a sea of hundreds of representatives that make up the Tasset government.
