The drah’acon is the most feared and mythical of all creatures on Arcus. Once quite numerous, they roamed the land and flew the skies with absolute authority. Now they are reclusive, territorial, and fewer in numbers.
These “Dragon Lords”, as they are known in the common language, are rare but still masters of their own domains. They keep huge lairs with many types of servants. Their supreme intelligence is only matched by their inflated pride.
It has been said in legend that the drah’acon are the fallen manifestation of Heilagah’Dei. It was said that they were once angelic but had rebelled because of their pride and narcissism. Heilagah’Dei had to cast them out of the heavens to cower in the ancient primordial realm of Arcus.
Even though cast down, the drah’acon retain much of their former power, cunning, and lethality.
The drah’acon can take on many forms and sizes. They have been known to take humanoid shape and walk amongst the cities and towns unnoticed. In their natural form they resemble ancient earth mythological dragons and may be of various colors and power make-up.
Make no mistake: whatever size, shape, color or maturity, these mythical creatures must be respected and revered.
