Rocky cliffs outline most of Camijaa’s southern side, making for few locations accommodating to large sailing vessels. One of the better exceptions, however, is the white sandy beaches of Smugglers Bay. Ships from across the southern sea fill its harbors. Some with merchants looking to trade hard-to-find items. Others come looking for the best smugglers and bounty hunters said to frequent the island.
There are more retched hives of scum and villainy on Camijaa, but Smuggler’s Bay is up there. Although a level of law and order is commanded by a mayor, he’s more accurately the biggest crime-lord in town with a vested interest in seeing commerce thrive. Down on their luck types stream in and out of cutthroat taverns and gambling brothels along worn streets and alleyways.
A lush and noisy topical forest surrounds the large settlement. It carries on rising in the distance, covering the green tops of the Jahava Mountains where a serpent-like river of fresh water descends back towards the town.
